All About Mrs. Leonard

Hi! I am Heather Leonard, a first-grade teacher here at Churchland. This is my 5th year as a teacher and I was an assistant for 14 years and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else! I went to East Carolina University for my certificate in Elementary Education and I went to UNC Charlotte I have a BS in Health & Fitness.

I love being with kids and teaching them new things. I have taught Kindergarten and First Grade, but I love seeing how much the students grow and learn in first grade. We are a classroom family in our room!
