In order to celebrate, we have compiled a digital treasure chest of over 500 historical photos and documents dating back to 1918 combined with contemporary pics through the 21st century. Experience our story as framed through an A-Z list of lasting traditions, unique attributes, and special people who make our school the best place to learn and work! One School, One Book Kick Off

Tues. Feb 27 we kicked off our book, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by giving every family a book. Every student, staff and family in our school will be reading this book for the next few weeks! We'll be doing activities for it and answering trivia questions! It was an exciting night as everyone took pictures, made estimations, voted for their favorite chocolate candy and received their books! You can access the chapters read aloud by clicking on the link on this page. You can also find it under our Parent/Students page as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory read aloud.

Churchland Begins Student Morning Video Announcements

Churchland is one of the only elementary schools in our district that has a student news crew that produces their show suing green screen background that they create themselves. They write, record, edit and upload to Youtube to share the announcements everyday. Mrs. Snider facilitates but is very proud of the hard work these students put in. Classes tune in each morning to watch. Parents can also tune in any time they would like as the videos will be archived on this youtube channel. See our link over to the right of the page in the Spotlight section. This is an exciting time for our students and school!
