About Mrs. Martin

My name is Melissa Martin. I am one of the EC Teachers here at Churchland Elementary. I attended Stanly Community college where I earned an associates degree in Early Childhood Education and one in Special Education. I also attended Kaplin University and earned a bachelors degree in Birth to Kindergarten. I am currently attending University of Mount Olive. I taught preschool from 1999 until 2012 then I taught NC Pre-K until 2020. This is my fourth year at Churchland. The first year I was a Title 1 assistant and the last two years I was an assistant in the EC classroom.
