Classroom Expectations & Procedures (Class Dojo)
We use Class Dojo to track student behavior. Each day, your child has the opportunity to earn positive points based on his/her behavior. Class Dojo Messaging allows me to send quick messages straight to your cell phone. I use this for reminders and important updates. You do not need a smartphone to receive messages. The Class Dojo app (free for iPhone & Android) also allows you to send messages to me. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions regarding our classroom.
Grading Scale
A: 90-100
B: 80-89
C: 70-79
D: 60-69
F: Below 60
Homework (3rd-5th ONLY)
All homework assignments, in addition to reading, will not exceed the following times based on school board policy DCS Homework Policy 6.16.7:
○ 3rd Grade - 30 minutes
○ 4th Grade - 40 minutes
○ 5th Grade - 50 minutes
