Behavior System

This year our class will be using coins to track classroom behavior.  Students will earn coins for exhibiting positive behavior.  Students can lose coins if they don’t exhibit good behavior.  At the end of the day, students will color their behavior calendar according the chart below.   Please review your child’s behavior each night and initial the calendar.  Behavior calendars are located in the B.E.E. notebook.

Students that have earned coins throughout the week will be able to shop from the classroom prize box.  Prize box items include classroom passes (stuffed animal, wear a hat, wobble chair, show and tell, go noodle, etc.) and small prizes (pencils, happy meal toys, erasers, stickers, etc.).

This year students will be able to earn tickets from all teachers in the building for exhibiting good behavior.  Tickets and ClassDojo points will be compiled twice a month. Students can use these points/tickets to purchase items from the school prize box.

You will receive an invitation to sign up for ClassDojo.  By signing up for ClassDojo you will be able to send and receive messages with your child’s teacher.  You will also be able to see important class updates.  Your child’s daily behavior will be communicated to you using the behavior calendar in the B.E.E. notebook.  If there is a behavior problem you will receive a phone call, note or ClassDojo message.
